Sala Zero

Sala Zero is one of Tarragona's key music venues and, for decades, one of the rooms that touring bands play on their way through southern Catalonia before they reach Barcelona. It is a small space with a standing audience and a low stage, and it gains everything a small room gains: you see the band from close up and the sound is not fighting a large hall. The programme is deliberately eclectic — rock, indie, punk, hip-hop, electronic music and local acts — with concerts and club sessions sharing the calendar. Tickets are bought online in advance and often on the door on the night, at a slightly higher price. Shows tend to start late.
