The gardens of the Palau Reial de Pedralbes are one of Barcelona's most pleasant summer stages: a historic garden on Avinguda Diagonal whose lawns turn into an open-air auditorium every June for the Festival Jardins de Pedralbes. The programme is deliberately broad — singer-songwriters, international pop, flamenco, jazz and Catalan voices — played to a seated audience at a modest capacity, nothing like stadium scale. Getting there is easy on metro line L3 (Palau Reial) or any Diagonal bus. Tickets are sold well in advance and the most sought-after nights sell out weeks ahead, so check which seating zone you are buying before you commit.
