Festes de Gràcia
Concerts in Barcelona
The Festa Major de Gràcia is not a venue but an entire Barcelona district turned into a stage for a week each August. The decorated streets that Gràcia is famous for become the backdrop for dozens of free concerts spread across squares and corners: covers orchestras, Catalan rumba, swing, local pop, brass bands and DJ sets running late, all played in the street to people standing or sitting on the ground. There are no tickets and no capacity limit — you simply turn up — though the central squares fill long before the advertised time. The district is served by metro lines L3 (Fontana, Lesseps) and L4 (Joanic); walking or public transport is by far the easiest way in.
