Espai Vapor

Espai Vapor takes its name from the vapors — the steam-powered textile mills that shaped Catalonia's industrial towns and that have since been converted into cultural buildings. It is a mid-sized space with the high ceiling and open floor of the factory hall it once was, and it programmes concerts all year round: Catalan bands, emerging acts, weekend festivals and club nights. The audience stands and the stage stays close, which makes it a good room for discovering new names rather than only turning up for the headliner. Tickets are bought online in advance, usually at very modest prices, and some events are free to enter.
