Carrer Vallespir de Baix is not a venue: it is one of the streets that closes to traffic during the neighbourhood's festa major, gets decorated and becomes a stage. Street music has its own rules — free concerts with no capacity limit, a stage at ground level or on a low platform, a standing crowd between the building fronts, and a schedule that starts in the late afternoon and ends at an hour agreed with the residents. The line-up usually mixes neighbourhood bands, covers acts, rumba, swing and DJ sets. No ticket or booking is needed; you only need the day and the time. Being a street, local public transport is the obvious way to get there.
