Apolo 2

The [2] is the small room of the Apolo complex on Barcelona's Paral·lel: a far more intimate space than the main hall next door, holding a few hundred people with the stage almost level with the audience. It is where bands that cannot yet fill a mid-sized room play, alongside independent-label shows, album launches and smaller club sessions, with a rotation of styles running from indie and post-punk to electronic music and hip-hop. Its size is exactly the point — no other room in the building puts you this close to the band. Paral·lel metro station (L2 and L3) stops outside. Tickets are sold online in advance and are usually cheap, but they still sell out.
